Heitor dos Prazeres was a restorer at the Ministry of Education’s Laboratory for the Conservation and Restoration of Historic Heritage Paintings. In this photographic essay, Carlos Moskovics goes beyond documenting the painter in his work space, approximating two references of Brazilian modernism: Heitor, consecrated as an artist, and the Capanema Palace, the mythical building in Rio de Janeiro designed under Le Corbusier’s guidance by a team of architects that included Lucio Costa and Oscar Niemeyer.
