Photoclubbing in Poços de Caldas
A director of the Foto Cine Clube de Poços de Caldas, photographer Limercy Forlin has kept a significant collection of original photographs from national and foreign photoclubs. The exhibition consists of around one hundred of them, which would have been part of an international exhibition held in the city in 1970.
Iole de Freitas, 1970s / Image as presence
The exhibition features a series of Super 8 and 16 mm photos and films created by Iole de Freitas in the 1970s, as well as installations from the same period. These early works, by an artist then in her 20s, are presented to the Brazilian public for the first time as part of a broad, comprehensive and representative collection of Iole’s production in that decade.
